Ben Nichols is President and CEO of Harkins Builders. A former Marine Corps combat engineer, he joined Harkins in 2016, became Vice President in 2020, President in 2021 and assumed the CEO role in 2024.
His background spans preconstruction, construction operations and business development across public and private projects, including multifamily housing, healthcare, commercial, hospitality and mission-critical work. Harkins reports that he directly managed more than 500,000 square feet of facilities in the Washington, D.C. area totaling more than $100 million. He is a 2008 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering.
