Dominion CDC envisions communities where every family has access to healthy, sustainable homes and equitable opportunities to thrive.
These values guide how Dominion approaches development, partnerships, stewardship and the communities it serves.
We prioritize people over projects. Every initiative begins with listening to the voices of those we serve, ensuring that community needs drive our strategy.
We design solutions that close opportunity gaps. From affordable housing to wealth-building tools, we create pathways to prosperity for underserved communities.
We operate with transparency, accountability, and professionalism. Our partners, residents, and stakeholders can trust that our word is our bond.
We bring high standards to everything we do. From the quality of our developments to the rigor of our financial models, excellence is the baseline.
We honor resources, relationships, and responsibility. We manage every dollar and every decision with care, purpose, and accountability.

Programs provide practical education in financial management, investment and economic empowerment.
Dominion connects families with community gardens, local food banks and other resources that improve access to healthy food.
Initiatives create constructive spaces, mentorship and opportunity for young people while supporting safer communities.
Why we do what we doEquity · stability · well-beingDominion’s work is grounded in the belief that people deserve communities with pathways to growth, stability and well-being.
That means approaching development with equity in mind, listening to community priorities and addressing systemic barriers that affect low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The goal is healthier, safer and more prosperous communities built with residents rather than around them.
